Wow, my take on Brie was so much different as I thought she nailed Carol perfectly. Rousey is a good wrestler and fighter but hardly a skilled actress (let alone an Oscar winner like Larson). I really liked the movie overall but to each their own.

I think Brie pulled it off perfectly as well.  There's a good reason as to why she's stoic at some parts of the film and not in others, but I don't want to spoil the film for those of you who didn't see it.

Even though allegations of child molestation hounded Michael Jackson for several years, the creators of "The Simpsons" have decided to pull the Season 3 premiere, "Stark Raving Dad", in which Jackson plays mental asylum patient Leon Kompowsky, who believes he is The King of Pop himself, from streaming services and syndication after the latest round of allegations that were released in the HBO documentary "Leaving Neverland".  And perhaps the most damning reason comes from showrunner Al Jean, who claims that Jackson may have used his appearance on the show to "groom boys."

Oh, and Fox will officially belong to Disney on March 20! Many people here probably knew this already as we here are far above most in intelligence and knowledge! So X-Men and Fantastic Four are back where they belong!

Re: Kelli Berglund, in Now Apocalypse - I thought she looked pretty hot, in the scene with her riding the guy. I thought her breasts would be a bit bigger, than they turned out to be. I'm not complaining, though. What did the rest of you think?

A new movie, Bailey and Darla, will be released some time, in 2020. It'll star, Brittany Snow, Jordana Brewster, Vivica A. Fox, and Anna Akana. The synopsis: "Bailey and Darla" follows Darla (Brittany Snow), a cynical reporter whose sex addiction is getting in the way of her sex column, and her evolving relationship with Bailey, a well-meaning sweetheart who's been dumped by his fiance and learns he has testicular cancer (again). Together they embark on an impromptu cross country road trip, recreating Darla's myriad trysts from state to state. She's looking for a story and he's looking for a last hurrah; what they find is something neither expected.

Sounds interesting. Something to look forward to, next year.

A Darla and Donna movie would be better, with the women cruising town to town and converting various different women!

There's the MCU and then there's everybody else.  "Captain Marvel" had a marvelous second weekend as it stayed at first with $69.3 million ($266.2 million overall).  "Wonder Park" was the highest debut at second with $16 million.  Not too far behind it was the premiering "Five Feet Apart" at third with $13.2 million.  "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" dipped three spots to fourth with $9.3 million ($135.6 million overall).

Today is officially the day.  As of 12:02 a.m. Eastern this morning, The Walt Disney Company has officially acquired 21st Century Fox.  In case you need a reminder of what from Fox is going where, here's a breakdown:

Disney will acquire 21st Century Fox's film production businesses, including Twentieth Century Fox, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Family and Fox Animation; Fox's television creative units, Twentieth Century Fox Television, FX Productions and Fox21; FX Networks; National Geographic Partners; Fox Networks Group International; Star India; and Fox's interests in H**u, Tata Sky and Endemol Shine Group.

Per a consent decree between Disney, 21st Century Fox and the U.S. Department of Justice, Disney will sell all of 21st Century Fox's Regional Sports Networks.

Yesterday, 21st Century Fox completed a portfolio spin-off into Fox Corporation.  Fox Corporation will consist of 21st Century Fox's news, sports and broadcast businesses, including the FOX News Channel; FOX Business Network; FOX Broadcasting Company; FOX Sports; FOX Television Stations Group; and sports cable networks FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes and Big Ten Network; and certain other assets and liabilities.

After forgetting the show was still in production for the last decade, the CW has announced that next year's 15th season of Supernatural will be it's last.
Is it Dec 2019 yet? (GAH SO FAR AWAY!)
