Beat me to it. Just got that message 5-6 minutes ago. I was working on the list for the announced Mae Young 2nd annual match! Some Impact women, some always tough Japanese girls, and Kacy from American Ninja Warrior among others! You know Vince will want Kacy to do well so he can promote the hell out of it! I only really know a few of these ladies, but it looks like a strong field!

Marvel Studios is going to cap its 10th anniversary with a big-screened bang.

All 20 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are going to receive a limited release exclusively on IMAX screens.  This is going to be different from Marvel movie marathons, which run for several days straight and require moviegoers to buy one expensive ticket, in that tickets for each film will be sold separately, starting with "Iron Man" on Aug. 30 and continuing through Sept. 6.

Here's the schedule:

Aug. 30:  "Iron Man", "The Incredible Hulk", "Iron Man 2", "Thor"
Aug. 31:  "Captain America: The First Avenger", "The Avengers", "Iron Man 3", "Thor: The Dark World"
Sept. 1:  "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", "Guardians of the Galaxy", "Avengers: Age of Ultron", "Ant Man"
Sept. 2:  "Captain America: Civil War", "Doctor Strange", "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", "Spider-Man: Homecoming"
Sept. 3:  "Thor: Ragnarok", "Black Panther", "Avengers: Infinity War", "Ant Man and the Wasp"
Sept. 4:  "Iron Man", "Spider-Man: Homecoming", "Black Panther", "Doctor Strange"
Sept. 5:  "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", "Captain America: Civil War", "The Avengers", "Avengers: Infinity War"
Sept. 6:  Fans will vote for the final two screenings

In the case of "Iron Man", "The Incredible Hulk" and "Captain America: The First Avenger", this will be the first time those movies will be screened on IMAX.  "Iron Man 2" was the first MCU film to receive an IMAX release and "Avengers: Infinity War" was the first studio film to be filmed exclusively with IMAX cameras.

Ironically, as "Iron Man" and "The Incredible Hulk" celebrate their 10-year anniversaries, this will put them in IMAX theaters at the same time as the other 2008 film that kickstarted the current golden age of superhero films and shows, "The Dark Knight".  Christopher Nolan's magnum opus* is also getting a limited IMAX release to commemorate its 10th anniversary later this month.

* = An argument can be made that this statement should actually apply to "Memento", "Inception" or "Dunkirk".

It looks like it's going to be rough seas ahead for the champ.  "The Meg" took first place this weekend but has a long way to go before turning a profit, premiering with $44.5 million.  "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" is very close to doing so domestically after I previously doubted it, dipping one spot to second with $20 million ($162 million overall).

I should note that "The Meg" set a new record for the highest debut for a live-action shark film, breaking the old record of $19.1 million previously held by "Deep Blue Sea".

For being the first film with a predominantly Asian-American cast, things couldn't have gone better.  "Crazy Rich Asians" had a great opening weekend and made back its budget since it was released on Wednesday, debuting at first with $25.2 million ($34 million overall).  "The Meg", which also has a large cast of Asians, though that's because China is one of the two countries listed as its origin, isn't doing too bad, dipping one to second with $21.2 million ($83.8 million overall).

Kevin Spacey's newest movie (and likely his last) "The Billionaire Boys CLub"made a terrible $618 at the BO in limited release. That is 618, not 618,000 or million, but just 618. It was released in 11 theaters, but that averages to just over $56 per theater, or around 10 people per theater.

It should be noted that the movie was released to VOD weeks ago, so just about anyone that wanted to see it, likely already did. That's still a terrible release, but it's not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.
