I'm proud to say this is one of the mid-majors I thought could tear up brackets at the start of the tournament.  No. 7 Nevada completed a 22-point comeback and upset No. 2 Cincinnati, 75-73, in the second round of the NCAA tourney.  The Wolfpack will play Loyola (Ill.) on Thursday in Atlanta.
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder
When they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder

The top tier teams continue to fall.  No. 1 Xavier was upset by No. 9 Florida State, 75-70, in the second round of the NCAA tourney.  The Seminoles will play Gonzaga on Thursday in Los Angeles.

It's been a long time coming for Sister Jean and Co.  No. 11 Loyola (Ill.) reached their first Final Four since 1963 with a 78-62 upset over No. 9 Kansas State.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Look out, Cinderella, here comes a red-hot Maize and Blue squad!  No. 3 Michigan reached their first Final Four since 2013 with a 58-54 win over No. 9 Florida State.  The Wolverines will play Loyola (Ill.) on March 31 in San Antonio.

The disappointment from last season is no more.  No. 1 Villanova advanced to their fifth Final Four with a 71-59 win over No. 3 Texas Tech.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  This is going to be a great Final Four.  No. 1 Kansas defeated No. 2 Duke, 85-81, in overtime, to reach their 15th Final Four.  The Jayhawks' Malik Newman had 32 points.  The Jayhawks will play Villanova on Saturday in San Antonio.

I'm not nervous yet, but something's gotta change.  No. 11 Loyola (Ill.) leads No. 3 Michigan, 29-22, at halftime.  The Wolverines' Moritz Wagner has 11 points and 11 rebounds.  Updates to come.

And Michigan beat Loyola (Ill.), 69-57.

UPDATE:  I think this one is close to over.  No. 1 Villanova leads No. 1 Kansas, 47-32, at halftime.  The Wildcats are 13-for-26 from three-point range.

UPDATE 2:  And then there were two.  Villanova defeated Kansas, 95-79, to reach their second title game in three years.  The Wildcats will face Michigan on Monday in San Antonio.

I’m more than a little nervous now.  No. 1 Villanova leads No. 3 Michigan, 37-28, at halftime.  The Wildcats’ Donte DiVincenzo has 18 points and the Wolverines’ Moritz Wagner has 11 points.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  It was a great season, but I hate that it ended like this.  Villanova defeated Michigan, 79-62, to win their second national title in three years.  DiVincenzo had 31 points off the bench.
