The Process just got more complicated.  According to Zach Lowe, 76ers center Joel Embiid could return in 2-4 weeks after surgery to repair an orbital bone fracture.

Here lies Boston's hopes and dreams.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving will miss the rest of regular season and playoffs following knee surgery.

The Timberwolves are headed to the playoffs for the first time since 2004. To put into context, Ronald Reagan died a few days after the T-wolves last played a playoff game. Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) was born a couple months before the T-wolves lost to the Lakers in the Conference Finals.

Here's something I wasn't expecting to say.  LeBron James and the Cavaliers are down 17 points to start the second half of Game 1 against the Central rival Pacers.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Things got a lot closer very quickly.  James and the Cavaliers rallied in the third quarter and trail the Pacers, 73-65, entering the fourth quarter.

UPDATE 2:  So much for the rally.  The Pacers defeated the Cavaliers, 95-80, in Game 1, snapping James' 21-game win streak in first-round games.

What a thriller tonight in Cleveland!  LeBron James swished a fadeaway three at the buzzer to give the Cavaliers a 98-95 win over the Pacers in Game 5.

Breahte easy, King, you're not having your earliest playoff exit yet.  LeBron James had 46 points and the Cavaliers outlasted the Pacers, 105-101, in Game 7.  The Cavaliers will play the Raptors in the next round beginning on Tuesday in Toronto.

It’s games like these that make him one of the greatest players ever.  LeBron James had 43 points, 14 assists and eight rebounds to light up the Raptors as the Cavaliers took a 2-0 series lead with a resounding 128-110 win.

What a thriller tonight in Cleveland!  LeBron James banked a tough runner off the glass for an unreal buzzer-beater to give the Cavaliers a 105-103 win over the Raptors in Game 3.

There goes my pick to win the NBA title.  LeBron James led the way with 29 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds as the Cavaliers completed the sweep of the Raptors with a 128-93 win.

You picked the Raptors? Did you parlay them with the Caps to win the Stanley Cup? Maybe then pick the Nationals in the World Series to complete the trio of teams that never deliver on expectations?

Yeah, I picked the Raptors, but no, I picked the Lightning to win the Cup.

Game on!  LeBron James and the Cavaliers are clashing with the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.  Updates to come.

And the Celtics beat the Cavaliers, 108-83.

Behold the power of ping-pong balls.  The NBA draft lottery began with the Suns at 25 percent, the Grizzlies at 19.9 percent and the Mavericks at 13.8 percent for having the best odds for the No. 1 pick.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  The balls have spoken.  The Suns won the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft lottery.  The Kings drew the No. 2 pick and the Hawks got the No. 3 pick.

Let’s see if things are all square at the end of the night.  LeBron James and the Cavaliers are trying to even the series with the Celtics, who are 8-0 at home this postseason, in Game 2 of the East finals.  Updates to come.

And the Celtics beat the Cavaliers, 107-94.

The Kings drew the No. 2 pick

Poor Luka Doncic, we hardly knew ye. Though, this is the Kings, and they're pretty set at power forward, so I'm sure they'll choose to ruin Marvin Bagley instead.
