In a battle of the losers, the Chargers finally beat the Giants, leaving New York 0-5.

Right now, Tom Brady has to be watching Eli and thinking "I lost TWO Super Bowls to this guy?!"
And the Dumpster fire is now a towering inferno because Odell Beckham Jr. was in tears as he wasbeing carted off after he fractured his ankle.  As if the 27-22 loss wasn't bad enough.
There you go making my heart beat again
Heart beat again, heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won't you do it and do it one time
There you go pulling me right back in
Right back in, right back in
And I know I'm never letting this go
I'm stuck on you
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh

And the Jags just might be for real as Jacksonville crushed the Steelers in Pittsburgh 30-9 with Big Ben having 5 interceptions (something no Steeler QB has done in a single game since 1987), two of them pick-sixes. Sounds like the week-long inner team conflict might be something big after all.

This doesn't help my hatred of Green Bay but it helps my fantasy team.  The Packers' Aaron Rodgers finished an incredible comeback against the Cowboys with a touchdown in the final seconds.  This came as the Packers beat the Cowboys, 35-31.

That Dallas play in the end was quite cool though, I'm sure it had everyone screaming at their screens until the last second.
I know that was my case at least.  :P

You hate to see this happen to this guy, especially with his off-the-field work.  Texans defensive end J. J. Watt will miss the rest of the 2017 season with a tibial plateau fracture.

He's not alone as Odell Beckham is going to need surgery and also expected out for the season. Like things weren't bad enough for the Giants.

Given how much Arizona is hurting in the backfield, they could use an underutilized player.  According to Dianna Russini, the Saints traded running back Adrian Peterson to the Cardinals for a conditional draft pick.

I'm not putting much hope into this.  NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent a letter to teams asking that they "move past" the anthem controversy.

Not taking any side, but he could have settled it last year after the first 10 minutes one way or the other.

Adjust your fantasy team appropriately.  A federal appeals court cleared the was for the NFL's six-game suspension of Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.

UPDATE:  The saga may not be over yet.  The NFL said Elliott's suspension is effective immediately.  According to Dan Graziano and Todd Archer, the running back is exploring his options.

As much as I dislike the guy, I hate to see this happen.  The Packers announced Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collorbone and could miss the rest of the season after being driven to the ground by the Vikings' Anthony Barr.  Updates to come.

And the Vikings beat the Packers, 23-10.

That is the Packer fandom's worse nightmare come to life. I've seen slews of Green Bay fans openly saying "without Rodgers, we wouldn't have a .500 season in years." True, the rest of the NFC North isn't exactly stellar but without Rodgers, they are in serious trouble.
