I know I don't normally post here in the postseason, but I'm making an exception for good reason as a fan.  Not one, but two former Tigers are going to the Hall of Fame after both Jack Morris and Alan Trammell FINALLY were selected by the Modern Baseball Era Committee.  It's well-deserved for both of them.  Morris was a five-time All-Star and four-time World Series champion, winning 254 career games in 18 seasons, including 14 with the Tigers.  Trammell played his entire 20-year career for the Tigers, making six All-Star games and winning four Gold Gloves and three Silver Slugger Awards.  Additionally, both Morris and Trammell each won a World Series MVP award.  A big congratulations to both Jack Morris and Alan Trammell from this lifelong Detroit Tigers fan.
Know y'all been patiently waiting
I know you need me, I can feel it
I'm a beast, I'm an animal
I'm that monster in the mirror
The headliner, finisher
I'm the closer, winner
Best when under pressure
With seconds left I show up
If you really want more, scream it out louder

I second that as well deserved for both men! Congratulations!

Is it possible I could catch TRL for 9th?
