Not a good month for porn fans, with Yurizan Beltran‏ joining August Ames in the big orgy in the sky.
"Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere just shared a joyful embrace in the middle of Hollywood Blvd." - Best bird-themed social networking post ever.

"That wasn't so hard, was it?" - Hayden to me after I 'fessed up to being nervous.

Heather Menzies-Urich, the widow of Robert Urich, best remembered as the second-oldest of the von Trapp children in the movie version of The Sound Of Music and the enemy of bras (and long dresses) called Jessica on the hortlived TV series of Logan's Run, passed away on Christmas Eve aged 68 (like her husband, it was cancer that claimed her).

Rose Marie, the actress who went toe-to-toe in a man’s world as wisecracking comedy writer Sally Rogers on the legendary 1960s CBS sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show, has died. She was 94.

Marie died at 2 p.m. Thursday at her home in Van Nuys, California, according to her website.

The comedienne-vocalist, who started her career at age 3 in some of the earliest talking films, co-headlined on the opening night of Bugsy Siegel’s Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas in 1946 and was a regular on the game show The Hollywood Squares.

Readily identifiable by the bow in her hair and her raspy voice, Marie was a member of one of the most popular ensemble casts in TV history. Along with Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Morey Amsterdam and, occasionally, Carl Reiner (the series' creator), she appeared in all five seasons of the sitcom and received Emmy nominations in 1963, 1964 and 1966.

A funny lady. She could make people laugh and that's good. RIP Rose Marie!

Best-selling mystery novelist Sue Grafton has died at 77. She was best known for the "Alphabet" books featuring 1980s private eye Kinsey Milhone, starting with "A Is for Alibi" that were huge hits. Her last one was "Y Is for Yesterday" and sad she never got to the last one.

Despite having fewer pages I fear 2017 was even more lethal to celebrities than 2016! My unofficial list, not including sports figures (except wrestlers and 1 boxer), stands at an even 90! I don't want to tempt fate with a few hours left and post my list, already categorized, until it's officially 2018 worldwide! And I probably missed a few. No slight intended if I do.

Sue Grafton accidentally put in wrestlers instead of writers. Sorry, big mistake as I trying too fast. Apologies.
