I know Jones wants to give Romo the job back but when Prescott is able to lead the Cowboys to a dominant win in Green Bay, maybe time to realize who the real lead QB should be.

A) People like to forget how good Romo is, or just not give him his due to begin with. B) Lots of quarterbacks come in and look amazing right away in their first extended taste of action, then fizzle out once defenses get some time to study tape and figure out ways to stop them, and I'm not going to buy a 4th round rookie as being legit because he's looked good in a stripped good offense behind a loaded line.

*** Thank you Detroit!!! *** For defeating the crappy Rams! I am so thankful they are gone! Those pathetic losers are L. A.s problem now. Hopefully they will ship them to Outer Mongolia!

Are we sure OBJ isn't still in college?  Northwestern Wildcats defensive back Kyle Queiro did his best Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. imitation on a ridiculous one-handed interception.  The Wildcats beat the Indiana Hoosiers, 24-14.

There you go making my heart beat again
Heart beat again, heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won't you do it and do it one time
There you go pulling me right back in
Right back in, right back in
And I know I'm never letting this go
I'm stuck on you
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh

I wasn't going to say anything, but thanks, even though the Lions aren't my team.  I don't own them.

They're your team in the sense that they're the team you choose to root for. I don't have a problem with people saying "my team" or anything like that. Where I roll my eyes is when people start throwing around "we" and "us" in reference to a team that they have absolutely no connection to other than giving them money. And for anyone that buys into the bullshit about fans meaning anything at all beyond being a wallet to be opened and have the cash surgically removed, remember that if those fans stop giving money to a team, or if the team thinks another set of fans will give them more, they will throw your ass overboard in the blink of an eye.

Okay, then the Lions are my team.  Take my money!  And I'm with you on the pronouns, Joe.  As a former professional sportswriter, it always makes me cringe.

Missed fg skews it a bit...but still satisfied with the tie. Ugly ugly game for the Seahawks.

It's one of those games where you look at the stats, see the massive time of possession disparity, and the yardage, and you'd think Seattle lost pretty good. In fact, I flipped away when Arizona had it at the goal line in overtime because Walking Dead was starting and I thought it was over. Then was looking around the net like 15 minutes later was literally like "wait, the game ended in a tie?" But if you're Seattle, I think you're happy to get out of there with anything, and Arizona has to be wondering how they didn't get the win (or their fans crying foul about Seattle being allowed to jump over the line, even though it's clearly a legal play).

I don't think any of us were prepared for this news.  Dolphins four-time Pro Bowl running back Arian Foster announced his retirement on a news site.  He said, "I'm walking away with peace."

Adios, asshole!  The Giants cut placekicker Josh Brown less than a week after new information surfaced about his domestic violence history.

So history made as the Raiders made the most penalties (23) in a single game by one team...and still won.

I really don't find this surprising. The Raiders have been the dirtiest tean since my brothers were kids! I truly believe the 'Longest Yard' movies were based on them. In fact, the Raiders probably commit 50+ fouls every game they get away with.

The past five years all personnel from the owner down to the guy who runs on the field to grab the tee during kick offs have been changed, yet, they still get more penalties than any  other team, it's not the Raiders, it's the league
