Mine's going to be heavy on DC with Gotham, Flash, and Arrow women this year. Rey will probably be a huge favorite this year.

Every year my initial list has about 15, then I struggle for 2 weeks to pick the final 5. Now my initial list has 30, and I haven't even started looking at first timers, It usually takes 3 years for someone to make my list anyway, but I think there is 1 who will probably make it.
I know there will be a lot of Felicity votes But I say, why not vote for the original

I prefer the older shows, as my list demonstrates.

I have to give honorable mention to
Teresa Lisbon The mentalist
Parker  Leverage
Brenda Lee Johnson   The closer.

Every year they just miss the cut.
 Also to predict future nominees

Rebecca Harris  Limitless
Felicity Smoak  Arrow

It usually takes a couple of years to make my list. As I am looking through mine, there are only 4 who have ever made my list their first appearance.
Caroline Channing
Kate Beckett
 And this year
Kara Danvers and Jessica Jones

Benw post reminds me to get my ass in gear. Shelly has hers, I still need to add 2 and arrange them.

Time is running out. I was hoping for more votes. The voting will close April 16th.

I will get mine in this weekend and see if Shelly wants to do one. Surprised that turnout is down so much. We usually lose 1 or 2, but it's down this year.

Honestly thought I'd already voted. Guess I looked at the wrong thread.

Anywho, tried to keep it to one character per show that's currently in production-ish. Only two movies made it, one of them not out yet, but since it's Captain America, I'm fairly certain I can reasonably claim Black Widow will be hot in it.

Despite more women in TV these days, somehow it's getting harder to find just one from a single show. I must not be watching enough shows.
Is it Dec 15th, 2017 yet? (GAH SO FAR AWAY!)

Surprised that turnout is down so much. We usually lose 1 or 2, but it's down this year.

Like the turnout in the other annual subforum 'events', the number of participants has been in a steady decline every year. In this particular case though, it's not tough to see why posters aren't exactly rushing to make a list and support this endeavor. Even stretching out the deadline further didn't help any more this time around than it did in the previous one.

But looking at a ballpark of the votes, it's a good year for comic characters, particularly Felicity Smoak. She's one of only two characters to get on more than five ballots.

Also looks like characters from Joss Whedon shows, which used to dominate this list, have been in remarkably heavy decline. Unless we count the Marvel movies and shows he's directed/produced, in which case Black Widow, Daisy Johnson and Scarlet Witch theoretically bump his stats back up a bit.

Aside from those notable things, looks like there's gonna be a buttload of ties.
