I made the decision that for this year's list, I was going to nominate women from TV shows I watch that are still on the air, rather than list women from shows long since gone or basically what I've done for the CSSA list: Nominating a lot of pieces of jailbait I've whacked off to, despite never having watched the shows they'd star on.

I should also make sure and inquire if my last two picks even qualify. For people from sketch comedy shows, does a specific character have to be named or will "various" work?

Mixture of some old (the Buffy gals) and some new (the Bunheads) working on the belief that with DVDs, dozens of digital/cable/satellite and interweb thingy no TV programme is ever unwatched...

I also only voted for an actress once, otherwise I could easily have had a few of my picks down twice (eg Alyson Hannigan as Willow and Lily, Kaley Cuoco as Penny and Bridget from 8 Simple Rules, etc)

You got it right. #1 = 20 points, #20 = 1 point.

The only rule I set for myself was to make sure that my top 10 had only women from current (new espisodes within the past year) TV shows, plus one movie that was in theaters in the past year. The 2 Broke Girls top my list, ahead of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, Mad Men's Joan, and Rizzoli & Isles. And I gave into the jailbait lovers by including Shake It Up's CeCe (After seeing the Disney Channel movie Girl vs Monsters I came close to including Olivia Holt, too. And I expect I'll have to vote in Jessie's Peyton List next year.)

After that, Marti and Savannah from Hellcats had to lead my second ten. I managed to keep from filling out the rest with characters from Joss Whedon shows (I was able to hold myself to four.) And I put in a few more offbeat ones: Elizabeth Burke on White Collar isn't a major character in on-screen time, but the Peter/Elizabeth relationship is the sexiest marriage on TV thanks to her presence. I don't know how many people here watch Mr. Young on Disney XD, but I love Emily Tennant as Ivy. And on the otherwise terrible My Babysitter is a Vampire, Kate Todd's Erica may be the most pleasure-loving, openly lustful female on any show. And that's in a Disney series!
The Brain: Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so Brain, but if Jimmy cracks corn, and no one cares, why does he keep doing it?

Not going to lie, I made up my Top 20 as I went along.  But I think I did a good job regardless.  I think I put a lot of thought into this.
If I said my heart was beating loud
If we could escape the crowd somehow
If I said I want your body now
Would you hold it against me?
'Cause you feel like paradise
And I need a vacation tonight
So, if I said I want your body now
Would you hold it against me?

Yeesh!  You gotta advertise man!  I didn't even know this was running.

I pretty much went with names in the order they popped into my head and then revised things as I went down the list.

Your character choices have to have a name. If you want to keep those actors pick one of their characters or pick somebody else.

Fair enough. It's been edited accordingly.

I guess that clarifies the question i had about using Kat Missal. Since she is from a reality show there is no character name, it would just be the actress and limited to a cssa list, correct? I will edit accordingly also.

Reality people can be on the list, since we do have a section for them.

Putting together a list of 20 is a lot harder than it looks when one has to remember what shows one has watched in the past year. And what probably says a lot about my taste in programming, only two American TV Characters made my list
