No idea why they included the WM match against Goldberg...that is just horrible. Rest all seem great, though I can't remember him fighting Rey and that seems odd.

Well they had two one on one matches that I recall, one on 10-31-02 where Stephanie made the match during one the Halloween Party segments, I can't seem to remember anything about the 2003 match, I probably didn't see it since that aired on my pops birthday

Some interesting titles coming out later this year.  Reportedly a Raw 1,000 DVD that includes most, if not all, of the show plus a history of the program is in the works in a multi-disc set.

More importantly an Attitude Era disc is coming.  It's supposed to be 3-discs and sadly doesn't seem to have a documentary though with Foley, Rock, Austin et al under contract it seems like there should be one since they probably have good insights as to what worked and why. But 3 discs is three discs and it should be good.  Note it comes out Nov. 20 right after the election so it isn't an issue with you know whos endless political campaign and more importantly right before my birthday.

Also there's an nWo disc coming in November too but I have to wonder what's left to talk about there.  Isn't this ground already covered?  But whatever, if it's good I'll get it.

The Attitude era DVD set is probably going to be skip-able for one reason: every single thing of note from that 3 year period was already seen on several VHS tapes that they released plus well over a dozen individual Superstar DVD sets

That's likely true which is another reason I think a documentary would be a real plus. But not everyone has those other tapes/DVDs (I know I don't) so for me I will buy it.  But yes, a lot of that stuff will likely be out there

Mick Foley, War Games, In Your House all should be good. Rivalries could be good if they go with ones that were actually good.

According to two schedules that we have access to, the Attitude Era DVD will no longer be released.

The listings for WWE: The Attitude Era on DVD and Blu-ray formats for November 2012 release have been removed from internal schedules for both the United States and Australia. This usually occurs when a title in question has been cancelled or postponed.

As of today, the majority of retail sites (such as here on Amazon) still have it listed for release but this is likely to change in the coming days. One such retail site, Best Buy, no longer have the standard versions available to pre-order.

The Attitude Era DVD was first revealed as going ahead back in July. A synopsis was published and a release date allocated, but artwork and content listings were yet to be released. Filming and production for the set will have already completed over the past couple of months.

However, as of late WWE and former CEO Linda McMahon have been under political fire amid the upcoming U.S. Senate election. The DVD was brought into question by Connecticut based newspaper The Journal Inquirer given the risqué footage attributed to the Attitude Era, and its November release time being so soon after the election. Prior to this, WWE made the call to remove certain footage from YouTube and other video sharing sites in order to “protect their corporate reputation from being mischaracterized in negative political agendas”.

We cannot confirm an outright cancellation at this stage, but the schedule removals at the very least suggest there will no Attitude Era DVD this year.

Isn't an Attitude Era set just going to be a collection of stuff that's already on existing DVD sets? Like what would be on that that I couldn't get on any Rock, Austin, DX, Hardys, Edge, Kane, Undertaker, TLC, HiaC or Ladder match DVD?

Pretty much... like ECW when it went out of business, the cancelling of the Attitude Era DVD set is can be summed up as: nothing of value was loss  ;D
